First, we're going to make your web browser go back to how it was when you first got it. This will get rid of annoying pop-ups, bad add-ons, and weird search engines. Keep in mind that doing this will remove any extras you added but will keep your saved websites. If you use Chrome, follow the steps for your browser below:
We'll reset Chrome to its original settings, which means your homepage, tabs, and search engine will go back to default. It'll turn off extra things and delete temporary stuff like cookies. But don't worry, your favorite sites, history, and passwords will stay.
1. Click the three dots in the top-right corner, then choose "Settings."
2. Click "Advanced" on the left side.
3. Choose "Reset and clean up" in the left sidebar.
4. Click "Reset settings to their original defaults."
5. Confirm by clicking "Reset settings."
That's it! Your Chrome should be back to normal.
